As the team behind KRTR-TV's "Midnight Edition," the duo has a long track record of uncovering the mundane truth behind unusual local interest stories. Expecting another nothingburger, the jaded pair arrive in Cold Ridge and are surprised to find a genuine mystery. They must reconcile their differing worldviews and work together to solve it before their broadcast deadline.
